We improve the customer experience through an IoT platform and mobile app
Challenge
Contigo Energía, a subsidiary of the Gesternova group, needed to bring the company closer to its customers. To achieve this, they requested a solution to connect their customers with solar panels.
Contigo Energía promotes and facilitates the use of renewable energies by providing support to its customers in designing, financing, and installing solar self-consumption systems.
Solution
An MVP of an IoT platform to collect data and a mobile app that connects solar panels with customers, providing real-time monitoring of the most relevant data from their installation (generated power, energy savings, CO2 emissions avoided, production, consumption, etc.), with a modular and scalable solution designed to support countless future applications. Additionally, an alert system was incorporated.

Result
The MVP validated the feasibility of extracting the necessary data, storing it, and publishing it through the App, and exploiting this data to facilitate decision-making. Contigo Energía will be able to:
- Increase visibility for customers of the data generated by their solar panels, thus increasing engagement.
- Obtain valuable data to initiate a decision-making strategy based on the interpretation of collected data, helping to improve service.
- Improve the daily operation of its facilities with the generation of alerts.
