Opentrends will present its services for Smart Cities at SmartEnergyCongress.eu

News

Opentrends is a Platinum Sponsor for the Smart Energy Congress 2021, the congress promoted by EnerTIC that reveals how the use of new technologies helps to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.

The event, which will be held at the IFEMA Madrid Conference Center next October 27 and 28, aims to publicize and discuss the challenges, trends and opportunities of the energy and digital transition.

Opentrends will give 3 talks in the different auditoriums of the venue, in which Mr. Carlos Puga, Opentrends CTO, will talk about:

  • “Changing the paradigm of municipal services management”
Digital transformation has forever modified the way we design and develop information systems. Not only does it change the approach with which we tackle the management of existing services in the Smart City, but it also allows us to think up and make available to citizens new services that were previously unviable.
  • “Using data with IoT in Industry 4.0”
New technologies such as IoT, Analytics or ML give us the opportunity to take our solutions to a new level, for example, acting on data in real time or changing from a reactive to a predictive model. At Opentrends, we have combined cutting-edge technology with years of experience to design new IoT platforms.
  • “How to implement the management platform of the Low Emission Zone (LEZ)”
The Law on Climate Change and Energy Transition requires that all Spanish cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants have a Low Emission Zone in 2023. For this reason, we will explain how we helped to create the technological platform that manages the Barcelona LEZ, the largest in Southern Europe.

For everyone interested in attending, Opentrends will be located at stand number 40 (see map below) and provides this link to obtain a free professional registration.
