SEIDOR ACQUIRES OPENTRENDS AND STRENGTHENS ITS CLOUD APPLICATIONS TRANSFORMATION STRATEGY

  • The consulting firm SEIDOR becomes the majority shareholder of the company specialized in digital transformation solutions, with a 15-year career and presence in Madrid and Barcelona, Silicon Valley (USA) and Kerala (India)
  • With the transaction, SEIDOR unites its capabilities and those of Opentrends in a new advanced cloud applications unit, made up of more than 500 professionals

SEIDOR, a technology services and solutions consultancy, has acquired a majority stake in Opentreds, a digital transformation company specialized in the development of cloud applications and customer experience solutions, thus reinforcing its strategy in this area.

With this operation, SEIDOR strengthens its capabilities in the design of application architectures, and in the transformation, development and maintenance of customized solutions, in cloud and omnichannel environments, in a safe way. The consultancy firm also strengthens its expertise in the adoption of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence (IA) and the Internet of Things (IoT), and in areas such as smart cities and connected car

Opentrends has a high degree of specialization in the public sector and large companies, in areas such as banking, automotive, education, mass consumption and industry, among others. SEIDOR also incorporates its offices in Madrid and Barcelona (Spain), Silicon Valley (USA) and Kerala (India).

Thus, SEIDOR strengthen its presence in the USA, expanding its capacity to offer its portfolio in new territories, and now has a development center in Kerala, from which to complete its global capabilities in the development of applications and make them available for its customers all over the world.

SEIDOR will also add to its offer the services of Opentrends’ digital agency, which operates under the name Failfast and it is specialized in user experience (UX), visual design (UI), creativity and digital content.

The current Opentrends management team will lead the area resulting from the operation dedicated to the development of advanced applications in the cloud, which will have a team of more than 500 professionals. Likewise, based on data at the close of 2021, the aggregate turnover of the new unit exceeds 50 million euros.
