The education sector will undergo a major transformation in the coming years, affecting both the educational policies for primary and secondary schools and higher education in universities and business schools. The digitalisation process in the education sector is already unstoppable, which is why SEIDOR, which today held a news conference on this sector in collaboration with Adobe, is taking a major gamble on this process.

Under the title "Education and the digital student experience: an alliance with a future", the event was held at the popular Museo del Traje in Madrid to discuss how digital experience platforms improve engagement and the student experience.

In the context of a strategic relationship between ADOBE and SEIDOR with more than 20 years’ experience, more than 30 certifications and serving more than 500 customers, this particular day of reflection has placed the focus on the higher education community. A group whose transformation, accelerated by the use of technology, and in turn with more and more private institutions breaking into higher education in Spain, increasingly causes institutions to want to differentiate themselves by offering a unique digital experience to their students. In this sense, the evolution of some of Adobe's products such as Adobe Experience Cloud and its associated tools (Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Commerce and Marketo Engage) can be very useful in conjunction with specific strategies where SEIDOR as a service consulting company and expert in the field of higher education has extensive experience, like in this case, the project itself deployed for the UOC and which has been part of the reflections during the day.

Educación digital - UOC - Adobe - SEIDOR

After a brief introduction by Baptista Borrell, director of SEIDOR's Edtech division, on SEIDOR's approach in the higher education sector, Ángel Gonzálvez, Director of Public Sector and Education at Adobe, and Pablo Muñoz, Solutions Consultant at the same company, highlighted Adobe's capabilities to improve "Digital Experiences" using its products. Next, Sergio Pérez, Director of Adobe Operations and Strategy at SEIDOR Opentrends, interviewed Ricard Mateu, CIO at the UOC, and Marcel Matencio, Director of Digital Services at the UOC, and took the opportunity to talk about their success story with their new platform built on Adobe Experience Cloud. Finally, Ian Gehlhaar, Creative Director at Fail Fast, SEIDOR Opentrends' specialist digital experience design agency, spoke on the topic "From digital transformation to transformative culture", key to understanding the foundations of students’ digital experience.

"The attraction, loyalty and orientation of the student towards greater employability is part of an end-to-end "journey" on which the student must have a unique digital experience, regardless of the information systems available at each institution," explains Baptista Borrell.

"Both the personalisation of content, at any point in the "journey" in which the student contacts the institution, and the personalisation of content in the teaching and learning process, all in a friendly, usable and accessible digital environment, is part of what is understood as the student's digital experience".
